As one of the few remaining historic estates open to the public by appointment, South Eden takes great pride in welcoming both locals and travelers experiencing the beauty of our historic grounds. To preserve the integrity of our 38-acre private estate, professional and personal photography sessions are permitted under specific guidelines and must be scheduled in advance.

Photography Session Guidelines:

• Advance Approval Required:

  • All photography sessions—regardless of scale—must be approved and scheduled ahead of time. Walk-ins are not permitted.

• Session Fees (Outdoor Grounds):

  • Weekdays (Mon–Fri.): $85 for up to two hours

  • Weekends (Sat–Sun): $125 for up to two hours

  • Sessions are limited to groups of four or fewer individuals and include access to the estate’s exterior grounds, including the Pool House and Greenhouse for photos/videos.

    • Sessions do not permit pool use access. Pool day passes must be reserved separately for pool use.​

• Session Fees (Indoor + Outdoor Grounds):

  • Weekdays (Mon–Fri.): $350 + for up to two hours (Includes 1 indoor venue space + all outdoor grounds)

  • Weekends (Sat–Sun): $550 + for up to two hours (Includes 1 indoor venue space + all outdoor grounds)

  • Sessions are limited to groups of four or fewer individuals and include access to the estate’s exterior grounds, including the Pool House and Greenhouse for photos/videos.

    • Sessions do not permit pool use access. Pool day passes must be reserved separately for pool use.​

• Session Limitations:

  • Sessions must not interfere with scheduled events, hotel guests, or active groundskeeping.

  • Sessions desiring indoor venues will be subject to varying availability and rates dependent on specific venues desired and date requested. Please inquire for exact rate for indoor specific photography session.

  • These session fees only apply to limited professional and personal photography sessions. Commercial photography/videography and/or large scale productions will be priced separately from these rates. Please inquire for this.

  • Absolutely no touching, picking, watering, or handling of plant life in South Eden’s Historic Greenhouse or elsewhere on our historic estate. These plants and trees are part of our seed-to-table program and must be protected to preserve their delicate growth cycle.

  • Absolutely no use of confetti, live fire, fireworks, sparklers, or other disruptive/messy features. Any questionable props or additions should be inquired about in advance.

  • For an additional fee, you may add any of our curated rentals to your photography session such as furniture, greenery walls, etc. Please inquire for pricing. 

 

Pet Policy:
Dogs are welcome to join outdoor photography sessions with an added fee of $45 per dog. All dogs must remain on a leash throughout the visit and owners are responsible for proper waste disposal. Pets are not permitted inside any indoor venues, including the Greenhouse and Pool House interiors, under any circumstances.

Additional Notes:

• Some dates may require additional staffing fees if the estate is otherwise closed to the public.

• Refunds are available up to 72 hours prior to your scheduled session. Unfortunately, no refunds can be provided for weather-related disruptions that occur mid-session.

• School-organized Homecoming/Prom photography sessions are strictly prohibited due to previous incidents. You may take prom or homecoming photography sessions, but must be booked with our regular rate within groups of 4 or less individuals that are pre-scheduled.
